Karry "Mama Karry" Gray - 55
Karry Gray “Mama Karry”, 55, of Watseka, Illinois, passed away on Thursday, January 5, 2017.
She was born on June 17, 1961 in Watseka, the daughter of Carl “Jolly” Gray and Wilma (Walters) Walters.
Mama Karry was a waitress for Topper for many years. She was an active member of the Miller High Life Pool League. She enjoyed playing pool, watching NASCAR, and most of all spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving Ms. Gray is her son, Tommy Gray of Watseka; daughter and son-in-law, Dustie and Richard Long of Kankakee; mother, Wilma Walters of Onarga; three brothers and sister-in-law’s, Kevin and Paula Gray of Gilman, Chris and Amber Rosenbaum of Nashville, Tenn., and Glenn and Stephanie Gray of Ft. Myer’s, FL; two sisters and brother-in-law, Stacey and Brad Ward of Onarga, and Kelly Schmidt of Rantoul; five grandchildren, Bradley Galarza, Christian, Noah, Savannah, and Madison Long; and man nieces and nephews.
She is also preceded in death by her father, “Jolly” Gray; step-father Pete Walters; and lifelong partner, Tom Andrews.
Cremation Rites have been made accordingly.

Dana Miller - 62
Dana Miller, 62, of Watseka, IL, passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2017.
He was born on November 22, 1954 in Watseka, IL, the son of Marion Miller and Beverly (Pelletier) Miller.
Dana was a janitor for most of his working life. He was very family oriented and enjoyed spending any time he could with his nieces and nephews. Mr. Miller enjoyed riding his bike and nature. He was a CUBS fan, an old movie enthusiast, as well as a food buff.
Surviving Mr. Miller is his mother, Beverly Miller of Monticello, IN; one brother and sister-in-law, Matthew and Sharon Miller of Limestone, IL; three sisters and brother-in-law’s, Roxanna Brammer of Watseka, Denise and Curt Brazel of Morocco, IN, and Lynette and Anthony Dziedzic of Colorado; twelve nieces and nephews; eighteen great- nieces and nephews; and one great-great-nephew.
He is also preceded in death by his father, Marion Miller.
A Gathering of Friends will take place on Saturday, January 7, 2017 from 2-3pm, at Baier Funeral Home in Watseka.
Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 3:00 pm, at Baier Funeral Home in Watseka. Pastor Gary Minard will officiate.
Burial will be held at a later date.

Ora Lee Bertram - 84
Ora Lee Bertram, 84, of Stockland, Illinois, passed away on Saturday, December 24, 2016.
She was born on December 2, 1932 in Pueblo,KY, the daughter of Willie Thompson and Ida (Hardwick) Thompson.
Ora married A. Edgar Bertram on September 30, 1950 in Frazer, KY.
Ora was a homemaker all her life. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, birdwatching, flowers, and playing Yahtzee and cards.
Surviving Mrs. Bertram is her husband, A. Edgar Bertram of Stockland; one daughter, Kathie Brady of Watseka; one brother, Estel Thompson of Monticello, KY; two sisters, Marie Phillips of Waitman, Ohio and Opal Carleton of Paxton, IL; four grandchildren, Anthony Brady of Watseka, Eric and Christina Hancok of Rossville, IN, Mark and Laeticia Hancock of Urbana, IL, and Amanda and Nathan Lambert of Milford, IL; ten great-grandchildren, Taylor and Connor Brady; Evan, Macie, Dallas, Brent, and Lucas Hancock; Morgan, Aurora and Kinsley Lambert; two special nieces, Sue White and Donna Chamberlain; special friend, Amy Gills of Hoopeston; and several nieces and nephews.
She is also preceded in death by her parents; two sisters; and one daughter, Linda Hancock.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 from 11am until 1pm, at Baier Funeral Home.

James Harmeson - 75
James Harmeson, 75, of Watseka, Illinois, passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2016.
He was born on October 4, 1941 in Fairbanks, Minnesota, the son of Francis Harmeson and Dorothy (Diehl) Harmeson.
James married Linda Tincher on October 11, 1963 in Hoopeston, IL.
Mr. Harmeson was a Printer Pressman for URCO for over 25 years. He enjoyed camping, gardening, and traveling.
Surviving Mr. Harmeson is his wife, Linda Harmeson of Watseka; one daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Matt Nelson of Parker, CO; two brothers, Glenn Harmeson of Winston-Salem, NC and Steve Crawford of Denver, CO; and many nieces and nephews.
He is also preceded in death by both parents.
Cremation Rites have been recorded.

Deborah Kae Williams - 59
Deborah Kae Williams, 59, of Milford, IL, passed away on Monday, December 12, 2016.
She was born on June 4, 1957 in Tacoma, WA, the daughter of Thomas Yarbrough and Gwendolyn (Schlief) Wright.
Deborah married Mark Williams on June 11, 2007 in Watseka.
Mrs. Williams was a local Registrar at IMH outpatient for over 27 years. She was also an active member of the Donovan United Methodist Church Board of Directors, Milford Christian Church Lady Group, Milford Christian Church Missions at Home, Milford Christian Church Christmas Cantata, Iroquois County Cantata Choir, Iroquois County American Red Cross Board of Directors, Country Theater Work Shop, and a United Methodist Church Youth Leader. In her spare time she enjoyed making flower arrangements, cooking and baking, grandchildren, collecting items of many kinds, and most recently making jewelry. She was also a big ILLINI fan.
Surviving Mrs. Williams is her husband, Mark Williams of Milford; two daughters and son-in-law, Michelle Larson and Daniel Rank of Ottawa, IL, and Samantha and Devon Tincher-Brassard of Milford, IL; one son and daughter-in-law, Joseph and Jennifer Bahlmann of Crest Hill, IL; two brothers and sister-in-law’s, James and Karen Wright of Martinton, IL, and Charles and Deanna Wright of Ashkum, IL; three sisters and brother-in-law, Tina Lord of Kankakee, Tani Parrish of Woodriver, IL, and Patrica and James Roberts of St. Anne; two step-sons and step-daughter-in-law, Christopher and Cami Williams of Eureka, IL, and Wesley Williams of Champaign, IL; one step-daughter, Abigail Williams of Champaign, IL; eleven grandchildren, Cole Larson, Shelby Rank, Jason Clark, Jarred and Jayden Bahlmann, Brady, Vivian, and Caiden Brassard, Parker Williams, Kennedy Williams, and Brendan Williams; a life long friend, Cindy Trumble of Watseka; twenty nieces and nephews; and five great nieces and nephews.
She is also preceded in death by her father, Thomas Yarbrough; step-father, Charles D. Wright Sr.; and three grandchildren, Jasmin, Jenna, and Juliet Bahlmann.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December, 18, 2016 from 2pm until 8pm, at Baier Funeral Home in Watseka.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 19, 2016 at 11:00 am, at Milford Christian Church in Milford, IL. A one hour visitation will be held prior to services. Brent Zastrow, Neil Larimore, and Gary Milton will all officiate.
Burial will follow at the Prairie Dell Cemetery in Iroquois, IL.

Ruth Ellen Guill - 88
Ruth Ellen Guill of Watseka, passed away on Friday, December 9, 2016 at Presence St. Mary’s in Kankakee.
She was born on April 3, 1928 at Hartsburg, Il, the daughter of Seide Conrady and Anna Rademaker.
She and William were married May 30, 1948. He passed away on February 2, 2004.
Surviving Mrs. Guill are two sons and daughter-in-law’s, Dan and Mary Guill of Marietta, Ga., and Mark and Sue Guill of Watseka, Il. Also four grandchildren, Christopher and Lacy Guill, who they raised, Benjamin and Jenni Biskie of Streator, Julie and Captain David Ewing of Fairfax, VA, and Natalie and Warren Hirons of Marietta, GA; five great grandchildren, Tyler Biskie, Caleb and Devon Guill, and William and Asher Hirons; one sister, Lula Belle of Emden, IL; and several nieces and nephews.
She is also preceded in death by both parents; husband, William; one son, Darwin; one sister, Analina; and two brothers, Earl and Robert.
Ruth had worked as a secretary. She enjoyed being a homemaker, being with family, volunteering at church, camping, and playing bridge.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 16, 2016 from 11am until 12:00 pm (Noon), at Faith Lutheran Church.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, December 16, 2016 at 12:00pm (Noon), at Faith Lutheran Church.
Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Watseka, Il.

Darlene McGunigal - 83
Clearwater Beach, FL
Darlene McGunigal, 83, of Clearwater Beach, FL, passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2016.
She was born on November 8, 1933, the daughter of Harry Behrens and Dorothy Wolf.
Darlene married Harry McGunigal in Florida in June of 2006. She was a homemaker and enjoyed visiting with family. Mrs. McGunigal was of the Lutheran faith.
Surviving Mrs. McGunigal is her husband, Harry McGunigal of Clearwater Beach, FL; one brother, Gerald Behrens of Watseka; and two sisters, Shirley White and Mini Kessinger both of Watseka.
She is also preceded in death by both her parents; one brother, Sparky Behrens; and one sister, Eve Malizia.
Graveside Services will be held on Monday, December 5, 2016 at 11:30 am, at Oak Hill Cemetery in Watseka, IL. Pastor Donald Love will officiate.

Opal Perry - 94
Opal Alma Perry, 94, of Milford, IL, passed away on Friday, November 25, 2016.
She was born on May 21, 1922 in Milford, IL, the daughter of Ray Stanley and Alma (Hicks) Stanley.
Opal was the Owner and Kennel Operator of Perry’s AKC for over 50 years. She loved everyone and her door was always open.
Surviving Mrs. Perry is one son, Frankie R. Perry of Watseka; one daughter, Donna Campbell of Woodland; one grandchild, Jacob Campbell; two sisters, Rita Stanley and Kim Stanley; and close family members, Tracie Hartman of Hoopeston, Russell Lauder of Milford, and Joe and Amber Pocica.
She is also preceded in death by both parents; one grandson, Frankie A. Perry; one daughter-in-law, Brenda Perry; one son in law, Bill Campbell; and one brother, Russell Stanley.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 28, 2016, from 10 – 11 am, at Baier Funeral Home.

Elsie Reder - 87
Ms Elsie Margot Reder, of Watseka, IL, passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2016 at the age of 87. Elsie was born to parents August and Wanda Reder on March 10, 1929 in Chicago, IL. The family moved to Iroquois Co. where she grew up as the second youngest child of six and graduated in 1948 from Wellington High School. She then enrolled at Lakeview School of Nursing in Danville. After nurses training, she continued her education at St. Xaiver in Chicago while working as an RN, attaining a Masters Degree. Elsie found her passion in teaching psychiatric nursing, becoming a professor at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Elsie retired from teaching in 1985. She returned to Watseka where she remained active in nursing and volunteering at Calvary Lutheran Church delivering tapes of weekly masses to shut-in parishioners. Elsie is survived by her sister, Leona Anne Vitous; nephews, Paul, Phillip, and Kurt Reder, Greg Vitous; niece, Lois Ann (Reder) Thomas. She is preceded in death by her parents, August and Wanda; her brothers, Frederich, Ferdinand, and August; her sister Ella Case; nephews Eric Reder, Mark and Mike Vitous; nieces, Phyllis Reder and Jeanne Reder. A cremation will take place. On January 14 at 10 a.m., friends and family are invited to attend a celebration of life service at Calvary Lutheran Church in Watseka. Memorials can be made to Calvary Lutheran Church, Watseka.
Joyce A. Schroeder - 77
Joyce A. Schroeder, 77, of Milford, passed away on Sunday, November 13, 2016.
She was born June 25, 1939 in Brazil, IN, the daughter of Charles Courtney and Anna (Walton) Tuggle.
Ms. Schroeder worked at Howard Industries for 23 years as an assembler, then later worked at QSE for 5 years. She was an avid reader, enjoyed spending time with her family, doing jigsaw puzzles, and crocheting.
Surviving Ms. Schroeder are three sons and daughter in law’s, Steven Schroeder of Carmi, IL, Donald and Tricia Schroeder of Loda, and Michael and Kim Schroeder of Milford; two daughters and son in law’s, Rhonda and Alan Henrichs of Onarga, and Julie and Richard Reeder of Milford; two sisters and brother in law, Nancy Schroeder of Bedford, IN, and Ilene and Paul Christensen of Bedford, IN; twenty-one grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; sixteen nieces and nephews; and many great nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by both parents; one son, Melvin Schroeder Jr.; one brother, Robert Courtney; and one granddaughter, Kelly Schroeder.
