James Good, 83, of Watseka (formerly Chicago), IL, passed away Sunday, June 7, 2015 at his home. He was born November 15, 1931 in Oak Park, IL, the son of Arthur Good Sr. and Lillian (Voss) Good. Mr. Good was a musician for the Chicago Symphony Orchestra for many years. He enjoyed playing many instruments, as well as collecting them, and walking. He is also preceded in death by both parents; and one brother, Arthur Good Jr. Graveside services will be held privately. Burial will take place at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Hillside, IL. Edna May Wagner, 93, of Cissna Park, IL, passed away Friday, June 5, 2015 at Prairieview Lutheran Home. She was born April 2, 1922 in Crescent City Iroquois Township, the daughter of Charles Hartke and Sophia (Henrichs) Hartke. Edna married Norvin Wagner on May 19, 1945 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Crescent City. He preceded her in passing in 1964. Mrs. Wagner worked for JC Penny’s Catalog Desk in Watseka for over 10 years. She was a member of Ladies Aid, Choir at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 4-H Leader, and Sunday School Teacher at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. Edna also enjoyed the Cubs, crosswords, crocheting, and counted cross stitch. Surviving Mrs. Wagner are two sons and daughter-in-laws, Ronald and Barb Wagner of Onarga, Dennis and Eileen Wagner of Onarga; two daughters and son-in-laws, Ruth and Tim Newman of Cissna Park, Betty and Bob Reetz of Cissna Park; one sister-in-law, Dorene Tiarks of Cissna Park; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She is also preceded in death by, both parents; husband, Norvin Wagner; one son, David; one sister, Ferne Hartke; and one great grandchild. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 7, 2015 from 2-6pm, at Baier Funeral Home in Watseka. She was born February 17, 1941 at home in Ashkum Township, the daughter of Ernest Floriant and Mary (Ponton) Floriant. Theresa married Gerald Fordyce on November 10, 1962 in St. Anne, IL. She previously worked at Wal-Mart and was a homemaker most recently. She enjoyed crocheting and talking books. Surviving Mrs. Fordyce is her husband, Gerald Fordyce of Beaverville; three sons and daughter-in-laws, Charles Fordyce of Alabama, Scott and Tracy Fordyce of Mahomet, IL, and Stuart Anthony “Tony” Fordyce of Florida; one daughter and son-in-law, Ann and Tom Andes of Florida; 13 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was born on August 17, 1926 in Harvey, IL, the daughter of Earl Goodwine and Mahaley (May) Goodwine. She married John Richard Ellis on June 21, 1947 in Harvey, IL. He has since passed away. Mrs. Ellis was a Homemaker. She enjoyed crocheting and reading. Mrs. Roach was a homemaker for most of her life, but previously worked as a Pharmacy Technician at St. Mary’s Hospital in Kankakee, IL . Mr. Daniels married Virginia Stephenson on September 17, 1950. She has since passed. Russell was a farmer. He enjoyed trapping, fishing, raising cattle, and basketball. She was born August 1, 1955 in Watseka, the daughter of Clarence Geisler and Grace (Schuster) Geisler. Carol married Ron Brandenburg on February 14, 2001 in Ocala, FL. Mrs. Brandenburg worked at Wal-Mart for 26 years as a zone manager. She enjoyed spending time with family and reading.
