Stanley L. Moffitt, 84, of Martinton, IL, passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2018.
He was born on February 16, 1933 in Martinton, IL, the son of Elmer Moffitt and Hazel (Claire) Moffitt.
Stanley was a life long farmer. He served in the ARMY and was a member of the American Legion Post #23. He enjoyed collectin John Deere memorabilia and traveling.
Surviving Mr. Moffitt is his son, Stanley (Carol) Moffitt Jr. of Mesa, AZ; daughters and son-in-law's, Cathy Moffitt (Rick Grosvenor) of Woodland, Sandra (Tim Foster) Moffitt of Flagstaff, AZ, Melody (Gale) Kokenberger of Watseka, and Sheila Moffitt (Rick Light) of Martinton; grandchildren, Jake Lowery, Candice Long, and Emma and Willow Moffitt; and five great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by both parents; and one brother, James "Jim" Moffitt.
A Gathering of Friends will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2018 from 10am until 11am, at the Centennial Christian Church in Watseka, IL.
Memorial Service will take place at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 13, 2018, at Centennial Christian Church in Watseka, IL. Pastor Joseph Hughes will officiate.
Memorials in Mr. Moffitt's name can be made to the Centennial Christian Church or Donor's Choice.
