Joyce was a woman of strength, courage, and faith, devoted to her family and friends. A long- time member of Faith Lutheran Church, she was active in the congregation and generous with her time as a volunteer. She loved holidays and family celebrations and enjoyed creative pursuits like needlework, sewing, and baking. She embodied the qualities of a Central IL farm girl of her times – independent, capable, and resilient and always ready to help others.
Survived by Marvin Dillon, her husband of 62 years, Joyce had three daughters – Diana (John) Salditt; Julie (Brent) LaReau; and Connie (Todd) Breeling. She had six grandchildren (Melissa, Ami, and Kyle Daniels and Christopher, Ryan, and Samantha Breeling) and five great grandchildren (Rileigh, Sharlee, Izabelle, Blade, and Addisyn). Family members who preceded her in death but remained close in her heart include her parents, Charles and Pearl Fink; sister (Wilma Claypool); brothers (Glen, Marvin and Paul Fink); and special aunt (Eva Smith).
Her family is forever grateful for the joy and light she brought to our lives and for the kindness of her caregivers.
